Mike Houston, from Bethnal Green Mission Church, speaks about the complications of giving to “ the other” through the filter of Luke 10:25-29 , Mark 25:25-40 and Luke 7:36-43 in dealing with the accompanying “ stranger anxiety” . In being more aware of misunderstandings that can rise from “ the loaded cargo “ of giving.

Geoff spoke to the story of Hosea in “ One step beyond.“ This is part of the “ reaching out” series. The talk looks at Hos 3;1-3 and how the disastrous relationship of Hosea and his wayward wife Gomer became a symbol of God's love that reaches beyond the waiting of the prodigal son to return to a painful searching out and finding told in the story of the prodigal wife.
